Hill Country San Antonio
Deck Staining & Sealing in San Antonio & Hill Country
Cleaning, prep, staining and sealing that protects wood decks, fences and pergolas from Texas sun and moisture.
Deck Staining & Sealing built for Texas living
UV is the number-one enemy of wood in South Texas. Without protection, a new deck turns gray, dries out and starts to check and splinter within a couple of summers. Regular staining and sealing keeps the wood healthy and looking its best.
We clean and prep the surface properly — washing, brightening and light sanding where needed — then apply quality penetrating stains and sealers suited to our climate. We also refinish pergolas, wood railings, fences and outdoor furniture.

Deck Staining & Sealing questions
When is the best time to stain a deck?
Mild, dry stretches in spring and fall are ideal. Stain cures poorly in extreme midday heat or right before rain, so we schedule around the weather.
How long does deck stain last?
On horizontal surfaces in full Texas sun, plan on recoating every one to three years. Vertical surfaces like railings and fences last longer.
Can you stain a new deck right away?
New pressure-treated lumber often needs time to dry before it will absorb stain. We test the wood and let you know when it is ready.
What areas do you serve for deck staining & sealing?
We provide deck staining & sealing throughout North San Antonio and the Texas Hill Country, including Stone Oak, The Dominion, Shavano Park, Hollywood Park, Helotes, Leon Springs, Fair Oaks Ranch, Boerne, Cordillera Ranch, Cibolo Canyons, Timberwood Park, Bulverde, Spring Branch, Canyon Lake, Garden Ridge, Encino Park, Sonterra.
